Last night I was lucky enough to go to the Shockwaves NME Awards. Apparently it's being screened on Channel 4 at around 11pm on Friday. Anyway, I found this short clip of one of many brilliant bands I saw.

My current house looks like a bit of a pikey hell hole, it's cheap and the people are nice though so hey ho. Unfortunately we've recently had someone move in whom our landlord described as "cool and laidback" but I would describe as "an annoying arse". So far his annoyances have only been minor and not really bothered me too much (Actually that's a lie. He shaves in our bathroom sink, never rinses it and leaves his horrible ginger hairs all over it, then proceeds to stand in the kitchen all night juggling cocktail shakers.
